In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1920s.
It has a bronzed pagoda shaped top which overhangs the glass. It has a hanging loop which could be extended on chain or hung as it is. The loop is stamped "PROV-PAT 4121-86".

The lantern has been re-wired with a simple hanging flex cord and modern bayonet bulb holder. This makes it easy to adapt or hang over an existing flex.
The lantern is in good original condition with no major damages. The metal has tarnished but the glass is all in good condition and it dsplays very nicely. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
The best description comes from the photos so please have a good look and if you have any questions at all please ask.
