Description

Chinese porcelain tea caddy and cover, c. 1700, Kangxi Period. The octagonal shaped caddy, painted to each panel, with flowering plants, in the Chinese Imari style.

The circular cover, similarly decorated.

Having an unglazed base.

Height - 9 cm, 3 1/2”.

Width - 7.5 cm, 3”.

Depth - 4.3 cm, 1 5/8”.

Condition - Typical fritting to the rims. No restoration. Excellent condition.
