Description

This very striking early 19th century ENGLISH BLUE & WHITE TRANSFER PRINTED SERVING PLATTER measures approximately 20.75 inches (53 cm) by 16.25 inches (41.5 cm). It dates from circa 1830.

There is a small 'S' painted in blue on the back. The stylised 'kaleidoscopic' flower heads are a delight. The Design is similar to the Pinwheel/Catherine Wheel Pattern.

The PLATTER is in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
