Description

Pretty early 19th century Barr, Flight & Barr period Worcester coffee can, c.1807-1813. Straight sided with ring handle, very finely painted wide decorative frieze of brown leaves with ornate gilded leaves and fronds dotted with small red flowers and buds. Gilded bands, rim, sides of the handle and details along the back of the handle. Impressed mark to the base.

It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high, 6.5cm (2 1/2") rim to rim and 9cm (3 1/2") rim to handle.

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and minimal surface wear.
