Description

This antique walnut writing bureau has nice slim proportions & is in excellent condition, dating from the 1910-20’s period. The burr walnut veneers on the drop flap & on the drawer fronts create a wonderful pattern. The drawers are graduated in depth & have the original brass handles. This bureau has curved top corners & sits on ogee bracket feet. The writing compartment has various compartments, a single drawer & a tooled leather writing surface. There are two automatic loafers which come out to support the flap when it’s pulled down. This is a nice compact useful piece of furniture, with a lovely colour & of good quality.
