Description

Fine quality set of eight early William IV mahogany dining chairs c.1830. Six chairs plus a matching pair of carver armchairs. Solid mahogany frames with broad and slightly curved cresting rails with rollover tops and a curved stretcher below. Loose seat pads freshly upholstered in a pale grey woven cloth. Gracefully shaped arms on the carvers with large scrolling ends. Raised on crisply turned front legs and out-swept rear stiles. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
