Pair of Antique Victorian Silver Candlesticks

19th century
Description

A good example of a pair of Victorian Sterling Silver candlesticks. They are stylish pieces with a classical column design on a stepped square base. They are good quality with a weighted base and they come with both of their original removable tops.

They are both hallmarked on the base and the tops for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co, Sheffield, 1896.

They are in good condition for their age but have seen some use over the years. There are some dents around the base and around the top. There are some surface marks, wear, light scratches and knocks and small dinks here and there. However they display well and they have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
