A large and very good quality Edwardian mahogany inlaid chest of drawers by the renown maker James Shoolbred of London. The top having satinwood cross banding between boxwood and ebony stringing. The chest has a deep centre drawer flanked by 2 banks of 2 short drawers above the 3 graduated large drawers. All fronts having conforming satinwood inlay and original gilded brass ring pulls. This quality bedroom chest is mahogany lined throughout and offers a large amount of storage. The chest is raised on a plinth base and bears the makers labels for Jas. Shoolbred & Co Tottenham Court Rd. London and is in very good original condition. Dimensions:- Height...51.25''/ 130cm. Width...51''/ 129.5cm. Depth...24''/ 61cm.
