Description

A Pair of Silver Candlesticks.

Each candlestick with a lift out drip pan, the dished centres surrounded by a 'square' scallop shaped rim, sweeping to a line edge. The drip pans fitting within campana vase candle holders, with concave and convex vertical panels, resting on a waisted socle. The stems repeating the shape, and concave/convex decoration, of the candles holders and likewise supported by a waisted socle, holding outward and downward spreading concave/convex panels, reaching to a rounded 'square' scallop edge base. The interiors with loading.

Hallmarked for Henry Wigfull, Sheffield 1914.
