Description

An antique 19th century stripped ash and elm Windsor farmhouse armchair with slat or lathe back, solid seat, standing on turned legs with straight double ‘H’ stretcher support.

CONDITION REPORT:

Our carpenter inspects, repairs and restores all our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is home ready!

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. Evidence of historic wood worm in places (this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution). Some shrinkage splits in places but the chair remains unaffected, strong and sturdy throughout with tight joints.
