William Edward HARRIS (1860-1930): A Birmingham born painter, who painted mostly midlands and coastal landscapes. This Oil painting on canvas is entitled - Fishing by the River Severn - and depicts several young boys fishing along the willow tree lined banks of a rural section of the River Severn with country houses in the background. Signed and dated 1887. Framed in a good quality ornate gilt frame.
