Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamond and then more diamonds to the the most beautifully designed shoulders, very much Art Deco in design. As you would expect from the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has approximately 4cts of diamonds.
It has its original solid 9ct white gold bracelet which is quite rare.
It is quite stunning with a white dial which is in perfect condition and gilt hands. A new glass has been fitted and it has been cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The case is large and measured 24mm in diameter excluding the winding crown it will fit a maximum wrist size of up to 6.5 inches or 164mm.
The back of the case is inscribed with the year it was made of 1934 which is a really nice touch.
The manual winding movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition.
As you would expect from Tudor the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.
It comes complete with a premium quality presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
It is a truly spectacular watch with the date engraved on the back, this would have been a bespoke made piece for someone of significance by one of the top London jewellers of the 1930s
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady.

This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
