An excellent 32 drawer collectors cabinet bearing the watkins and doncaster plate in solid mahogany throughout. Circa 1890.

This cabinet is of small proportions making it highly adaptable and was the property of the late victor measday of kent. The 32 drawers are very well made, run smoothly and all have closely fitted glazed tops. They all bear their original well turned diminutive knobs. The drawers, which are base lined with papered cork, would benefit from re-papering, a task we are happy to carry out for clients to the highest standard. The drawers have an internal usable depth of just over an inch making this cabinet particularly useful for the storage and protected presentation of medals, badges, etc,etc.

The top of the cabinet is removeable which makes for very easy handling through weight reduction.

All original locks, hinges, glass and fittings, altogether an excellent and beautiful cabinet.
