Exquisite Small Size Silver Mounted Glug Glug Decanter by King & Son, Chester 1895

Description

This delightful small sterling silver mounted crystal glug-glug decanter measures a little under 7 inches and was made by the reputed King & Sons of Chester. The plain clear glass body with pinched and fluted central waist, The silver mounted neck fully hallmarked.

Original blown glass stopper, incised with oval patterns..

Hallmarks:

JK over HK for King & Son.

Chester Assay.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "M" for 1895.

Dimensions:

Height: 17cm - 6.6 inches.

Base: 6.5cm x 6.5cm - 2.2 inches x 2.2 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass in very good condition.

No damage to inner neck or stopper.

Silver neck in excellent condition.Postage:

Postage UK: £8.00 Special delviery.
