Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The stone is secured in a six claw collet with unusual triangular shaped claws with in a hexagonal collet with distinctive geometric detailing in the gallery. Each of the spear-shaped shoulders are set with three eight-cut diamonds of graduating size, leading to a slim yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a diamond identification report from IGI (#395978804).
Cut – Old mine cut (with eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – F (F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS1 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).

Carat – 0.78 (with a further approximate 0.11 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1920.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.21 x 5.52mm. Sits 6.75mm from the finger.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k gold and platinum. Tested.
