Description

A lovely clean, well presented bracket clock by the World renowned maker WINTERHALDER & HOFFMEIR. The mahogany case retains it's original French-polished finish and has a lovely age-related patina. There is a bevelled glazed window to the lower half of the case through which the heavy brass pendulum can be seen working.

The 8" convex silvered dial has black engraved Roman numerals and beautifully cut hands and brass bezel. There is a feint marking to the dial "EVELEIGH BISHOP, LEEDS" who are probably the original retailers of the clock.

The 8 day movement strikes with a double "Ting-Tang" on the quarters and the number of hours on the hour. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.

A very smart clock indeed.
