Here we have for sale today this inlaid Edwardian Compactum
Dating from around 1900 and all made in mahogany, with satinwood inlaid.
Made in two sections and standing on square tapered legs all raised on brass and pot wheel castors.
Having this unusual combination of drawers and cupboard. The top section having 2 short drawers over two long drawers, with the base section having a long drawer over 2 doors enclosing a single compartment. All drawers and cupboard door fitted with its original brass handles.
Having its original polish, plus patina, its a medium mahogany colour (please see pictures)
This compactum is solid in all its joints, with no breaks, no splits, and no woodworm.
