Antique Victorian Glazed Mahogany Library Bookcase C1880

Antique Victorian Glazed Mahogany Library Bookcase and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cornice top with a frieze above two slightly arched glazed panelled doors with working key. Internally there are two adjustable shelves. The base is moulded to the top over two short drawers both of which are mahogany lined with brass handles and above two arched panelled doors with working key and with a single internal shelf. It is raised on a plinth base and the top separates for ease of transporting.

MEASURES: 84” HIGH TO TOP X 36.5” HIGH TO BASE X 16” DEEP X 48” WIDE AND INTERNAL DEPTH TO TOP 9”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
