Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
There is a label inside the door claiming this was carried out in 1907.

The slim oak case has nice crisp carving (possibly carved later), is in good condition and is a good colour. There is a fine shrinkage crack to the base and it has the usual signs of age and use.
The movement is in good condition, running well and keeping good time.
