Description

An 18th Century Silver Loving Cup.

The George III silver loving cup with an outswept and ringed rim, above the cup with a circular ring banding. The cup sweeping into a waisted socle, and thence spreading to a circular domed foot with ringed decoration. The cup mounted with scrolled handles, topped with a thumb grip, and tapering to heart shaped terminals. The cup hallmarked for James Gorham, London 1769.
