George III Mahogany and Leather Wing Chair of Generous Proportions

18th century
Description

A good George III mahogany and leather wing chair of generous proportions. The padded back flanked by shaped serpentine wings above the well scrolled arms and large padded seat raised on square chamfered legs with a slender moulding to the outer edge, united by traditional 'H' stretchers; and retaining the original brass barrel castors. A shapely chair with a good rake to the back benefitting from having rare old leather upholstery with a lovely red/tan colour with piped edges and close brass studding. In good condition with some distressing and marks commensurate of age and use.

A good George III mahogany and leather wing chair of generous proportions.
