Late 19th century Anglo Indian silver pair of trinket or spice bowls marked on the bases OM BHUJ for Oomersi Mawji (Oomersee), Calcutta circa 1890
One of India''s most celebrateed silversmiths.
The round bowls with scaloped rims on ball feet.
Chased all over with a repeating pattern, a pair of panels with opposing scrolling foliage and single flower alternating with symetric three flower single panels.
Typically the silver is exceptionally pure.
Height 1,7/16'' or 36mm, diameter 2,1/8'' or 54mm
weight 75 grams.
Both in excellent condition with no damage or repair
