Henry Lascelles, 2nd Earl of Harewood DL (25 December 1767 – 24 November 1841), known as Viscount Lascelles from 1814 to 1820, was a British Peer, land owner, chiefly inheritee art collector, and Member Of Parliament. Harewood House is a country house in Harewood near Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by architects John Carr and Robert Adam, it was built, between 1759 and 1771, for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood

Eden Upton Eddis enrolled at the Royal Academy schools in 1828, and he won a silver medal in 1831. From the age of twenty-five until he was nearly seventy his work was regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy. Eddis specialised in portraiture and had an affinity for delicately detailed images of children.
