Description

A late 18th Century Sheraton period rosewood Artists Bonheur du Jour. This unusual writing table has boxwood & ebony stringing and satinwood banding throughout. The piece has a brass gallery upper part above a fold-over top revealing red leather writing surface and concealed lift-up painting easel. This piece has 3 frieze drawers containing many original water colour paints & crayons, above paper storage cupboard and concave platform, supported on satinwood panelled square tapering legs.
