Edwardian Revolving Hat and Coat Stand

1900 - 1920
Description

A good quality oak hat and coat stand dating from the early 20th century. It has 5 hooks around the revolving top and it stands on 3 splayed feet. It is well made with a heavy weighted base to prevent it toppling and a pretty turned finial on the top.

It is in good condition for its age and has a lovely aged patina with a warm colour. One of the hooks has been replaced and the arm is slightly bent (see photo) but still usable. There are signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
