The desk is in good condition for its age. It is generally clean and tidy throughout and the leather surface is in good order. The drawer opens well although we do not have a key for it. There are some general signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and a few small old splits around the top but nothing detrimental. There has been a good old repair to one leg and it is a strong and sturdy piece. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
