Description

Very elegant antique Sheraton style mahogany settee dating from the 1890-1900 period & in good original condition. There are a few age related markings on the frame, but they have been polished out & everything is in character, plus it’s structurally sound.

There are some fine satinwood & other exotic woods set into the two top marquetry panels, plus satinwood stringing all over the frame & down the tapered spade end legs. All the joining bars & the cross stretchers between the legs help keep the structure sturdy.

This settee has just been re-upholstered in our regular natural cotton linen fabric, which is double piped onto the frame.
