A 19th century Hanau solid silver gilt sugar caster of classical flask form with screw on cover.

Fully London hallmarked for 1897, import marks for Berthold Muller.

Romantic Fragonard inspired style with embossed panels of musicians alfresco.

In very good sound condition noting small seam hole on the foot, probably from manufacture.

Height 5,1/2" or 140mm, weight 85 grams.
