Striking, antique Anglo Indian silver Swami ware bracelet, made in Southern India probably Madras, circa 1880

Tapered cone form cuff bracelet, nine hinged, box constructed panels of engraved repousse work silver, depicting incarnations of Vishnu.

Typical of the work found in P Orr & sons Madras catalogue.

Heavy guauge silver in excellent condition with no dents, repair or damage.

Good tight clasp, ready to wear or collect.

For fit, smaller internal circumference 6,3/4" or 170 mm

Width 1,5/16" or 34 mm

Weight 86 grams
