This really is an exceptional quality and grand scale Regency rosewood and brass inlaid chiffonier server, circa 1820 and in nice condition.
The scale of this piece when you compare it to other cabinets makes this a great feature piece and can certainly stand alone as an alternative to a typical console table for example.
Brass 3/4 galleries to the top shelf and the main surface, inlaid brass to the scrolls and frieze with elegant turned brass columns for the shelf supports.
The condition is good throughout and it has been allowed to grow old gracefully with just some light marking to the main surface which are not of any concern, other than that, it has been cleaned and beeswax polished up.
Good solid piece and certainly unusual at these proportions.
