A swooping swallow, symbol of love & devotion, is engraved on the center of this Victorian/Edwardian, solid silver photo locket, circa 1890.
Not hallmarked, fully tested as solid silver.
Raised decoration forms castellated borders , twisted wire and bead effects with bead edge.
Inside with with two bezels and no glass, will readily retain two photos.
Good, tight hinge and closure.
In excellent sound condition with no damage or repair,noting insignificant dings to the back.
Ready to wear or collect.
Measures, excluding bail and ring 1,5/8'' x 1,1/4'' x 1/2'' or 41mm x 32mm x 13mm, weight 14 grams.
