American Burr Walnut Dressing Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

The Widdicomb Furniture Co, Grand Rapids, USA.

A wonderful Dressing Chest, fabulous quality construction from Walnut with nice burr walnut top and drawer fronts. Made in America (2 labels inside see photos). Very unusal shaped mirror with 2 jewellery boxes either side. All the drawers run smoothly fitted with original brass handles, nice turned legs with brass capped feet. This has a protective top which can be used or not as desired.

This lovely piece is in superb condition having been re finished to a high standard. We have left the original mirror plate which has some minor marks in the silvering which we think is the character but we can put a new mirror in for you if required.
