The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Dating to c.1765, it is unusually marked with the under-glaze blue fretted square (on-glaze printed wares are never usually marked in this way).

It measures 7.8cm (3 1/8") wide and 4.2cm (1 5/8") high.
Condition is good: there is a tight 2cm hairline running just to the right of the smaller reverse scene. The gilding on the rim is a little worn and there are 2 small erroneous drops of gilt just below the rim. A little wear to the enamel at some of the raised points of the flutes as you might expect.
