Antique Victorian Burr Walnut & Marble Side Table

Description

Very decorative antique Victorian walnut jardiniere stand dating from around the 1860’s period & in very good condition, with all the original pieces of wood intact.

It’s surprisingly stable, given the design & general structure. The marble top sits in a circular burr walnut surround which has a walnut pierced frieze below. This sits on three turned walnut uprights, carved at the bases. They in turn sit on well shaped carved walnut legs & feet. There is a circular burr walnut bottom tier which helps keep the legs tight together. This also has a turned finial in the middle.
