An 18th Century Imari Vase.

The vase of trumpet shape, the outward swept rim decorated with a band of flowing flowers, above the waisted body filled with a sinuous tree, around which an exotic bird flies. The tree and bird twisting around flower filled scrolling panels. The body tapering to a chamfered base filled with flowing flowers, as per the rim, and finished with a foot rim.
