This is a very attractive Doulton Burslem jug and matching bowl, which has the stamp of Doulton Burslem on the base. The pattern is Blue Iris, and it has the scripted design number A1147 on the base, together with an impressed "Ivory". There is a nice variation in this flow blue pattern, having different designs of wild roses on one side, irises on the other, with a butterfly in between. The condition is very good.
Rare to find the two together as they were often split and sold separately.
A beautiful display item with rich colouring.
These are from a recent collection I acquired of fabulous Doulton Burslem items, some great vases, look out for my other listings.
The jug stands 14cm high the bowl has a diameter of 22.5cm
