Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
It has black and grey stencil work painted onto the top and fronts of the drawers along with painted escutcheons and handles, and stands on bun feet. The paint is later addition but has worn nicely. Old worm holes to the feet. Splits into 2 section for transport/getting up and down stairs.
