The upper section with a brass gallery above the shaped superstructure which houses the 2 banks of 3 drawers, 2 concave shaped cupboard doors a centre door and the serpentine shaped hinged falls which lift to access the pen drawers below. The lower section having a pull out slide which has a hand dyed and gold tooled leather writing surface with hidden finger pulls. The kneehole having an arrangement of 5 figured mahogany and graduated drawers with decorative corner brackets. The whole raised on 6 square tapering legs with spade feet and brass castors. In very good original condition and retaining all the original brass handles, escutcheons and working Hobbs of London brass locks with keys. Dimensions:- Max.Height…41’’/ 104cm. Width…53.5’’/ 136cm.
