A Good Rosewood Early Victorian Period Antique Library Table

Description

A good rosewood Early Victorian Period antique library table. Having a rectangular top banded in rosewood and retaining the original red leather writing surface with the remnants of the gilt tooling still visible and having twin rectangular mahogany lined frieze drawers retaining their original rosewood drawer pulls. Supported on solid rosewood slab end supports with fine floral carving and a platform base with turned feet and concealed castors, united by a central turned stretcher. It can be placed free standing in the centre of a room. English circa 1850

Condition: This table is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
