Victorian Silver Gilt & Enamelled Glass Scent Bottle, Circa 1880

Description

This exquisite moss green glass scent bottle was made circa 1880 and is very much in the manner of Thomas Webb Cameo glass. The frosted moss green body decorated with with opaque white enamel leaf garlands resembling Cameo glass.

The neck with a stunning silver gilt engine-turned bayonet lid, always a sign of quality.

Hallmarks:

Unmarked but tested as silver.

Dimensions:

Height: 9cm / 3.3 inches.

Base diameter: 4cm / 1.4 inches.
