Top quality early Anglo Indian Sadeli ware trinket box, circa 1860.
The sandlewood carcase covered in intricate micro mosaic veneer of pewter, bone, stained bone and ebony.
The base and lid lined with plumb / coral coloured velvet, the box stands on turned brass feet.
Typically of Sadeli ware there are some small losses, a few edge and linear tiles are missing, not really noticable, see last three closeup photos.
All in very good sound condition.
