Description

A quality Georgian period London stick barometer. A mahogany case with choice flame veneers and line inlays. The original cistern cover. An architectural pediment with the original central brass finial. Well engraved silvered dial with scale from 27 to 31 inches. An original thermometer and sliding scale adjuster for the main tube. Signed 'Pedraglio Fecit'. Circa 1810.

Pedraglio of London is recorded in Banfields' 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book as working from 1810-1830.
