A rare C19th plaster bust of Homer, this Herm-type bust of the ancient Greek poet in the manner of Carlo and Filippo Albacini; well cast with a good original finish and good scale. There is a virtually identical plaster bust by Carlo and Filippo Albacini in the British Museum
