Two large Victorian rolled gold framed carved antler swivel brooches, circa 1860.
Probably German, workshop of Count von Erbach (Ernst Kehrer Erbach 1816 - 1874 ).
Good examples of this Arcadian, sentimental genre.
Very finely carved oval vignettes of a pair of deer and a pair of horses.
Rolled gold frames with swivel action, the backs with framed photo and cloth fragment.
Both in very good sound condition ready to wear or collect.
The rolled gold frame of the horses is missing some decorative mounts, the swivel action on the deer a bit stiff.
Of similar overall size, approximately 2,1/2'' x 2,1/8''
