It stands on square coromandel wood feet with its original brass and steel ball castors, the top newly recovered in black fabric. With upholstered lift up top, which opens to reveal an oak lined interior and brass fittings. Perfect to use as a coffee table with the addition of a tray or as a blanket box or window seat.

Good condition. Solid and sturdy. Newly recovered over good horsehair upholstery. General wear commensurate with age. There is a split inside to the base, visible when you lift the lid, but it does effect it structurally.
