Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Either way, it’s a great looking piece of furniture. Please enlarge all the images to see the quality of carvings & the wonderful colour.

The top edge is carved, as are the legs which sit on claw & ball feet. There is a concealed drawer right across the front & one of the back legs swings out to support the baize playing surface. I particularly like the candle stands and counter wells. The baize lining looks original & is still okay, but not perfect as you can see. If needed, it can be re-baized for about £100.
