An absolutely stunning 19th century wall-mounted model of a ship/boat in half-hull form. The distinctive multi-layered laminated construction retains its original three-colour paint finish comprised of black, deep bottle green, and dark ochre red. This beautiful model is of impressive size, with its length measuring 3'' 2¼'' (97.5cms), and would double up as a useful general purpose shelf. It is English, c.1850/c.1875.
