George IV Silver Milk Jug 1822

Description

This stunning SILVER MILK JUG was made by William Eaton in 1822.

This superb Silver Jug has a gadrooned everted rim with a cornucopia decorated handle. The body is decorated with repousse basket of flowers and has a blank cartouche. The jug stands on a circular foot and retains the original vibrant gilt interior.

Despite being almost 200 years old, this fabulous Silver Jug is in excellent condition with very little sign of use or wear and has no added engravings or monograms.

A superb piece in amazing condition for its age.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Dimensions:

Length – 6.0” (150mm) / Width – 3.5” (90mm) / Height – 4.25 (108mm)

Weight – 210gm / 6.75ozt
