Edwardian Sterling Silver Mounted Address Book - Birmingham 1902

Description

A wonderful and hard to find red leather bound address book and mounted with a terrific highly decorative embossed sterling silver front panel incorporating the repousse "Address Book" words across the centre.

The English silver hallmark can be found amongst the riot of decoration for Birmingham 1902, 108 years old and a true Edwardian example. The makers mark can also be found, D & F for Deakin & Francis.

The interior looks to have been professionally refilled so that it is totally blank and could actually be used, it would make a charming gift.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 3/4" x 3 1/2".
