Art Deco 2.24 Carat Sapphire Cluster Ring, French, Circa 1935

Description

A majestic, beautiful vintage sapphire ring. The oval cut centre stone is a bright and strong electric blue. The platinum head of the ring is set with six eight-cut diamonds with fine graining and vent detailing, leading to scrolling detail in the gallery to a slim 18k white gold shank. A French vintage delight.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308950).

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds. .

Colour – The diamonds are G to I.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 2.24 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.14 carat.

Circa – 1935.

Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 16.7 x 8.9mm and sits 5.7mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold and platinum. French hallmarks.
